Tomorrow, Saturday, February 3 (8:30 pm), the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías of Las Torres de Cotillas will officially present the poster for Holy Week 2018 of the municipality, which this year will feature the titular image of the Confraternity of Our Lady of the Piety.
It will be in the Church of Our Lady of the Salceda after the celebration of a mass, in an act in which there will be other presentations: the poster of the children's procession, the crier, Domingo Coronado, and the 'Nazarene of the Year' Antonio Hernández
"The local theater group 'Tejuba' and the band of drums and horns of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Mercy will also participate," explains the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Cabrera.
The proclamation, on March 17
Coronado has been chosen by the Cabildo with the absolute approval of all the brotherhoods of the municipality.
"Domingo has always shown his affection and affection for the Holy Week of our town and with this recognition we have wanted to give him back all the effort he has put in to enhance it during his 14 years as mayor", explains the president of the Cabildo, José Sánchez.
Coronado will offer his speech next Saturday, March 17 (8:30 pm) at the Church of Our Lady of Salceda, in an event that will serve as a prelude to the passionate parades in the town.
"The first appointment will be on March 18 with the children's procession, which this year celebrates its second edition, and on March 23 will begin traditional, with the procession of Friday of Dolores," says Sanchez.
