The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has joined the project 'GIRA Women', driven by the company 'Coca-Cola' and the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia.
"This initiative was created to promote the empowerment of women in decision-making in their professional field and personal, through the promotion of their projects and work and personal initiatives," says the Councilor for Equality, María Dolores Sánchez.
For this purpose, next March 14 and 15 in the Municipal Business Incubator, two free training sessions will be held for both entrepreneurs and unemployed people between the ages of 23 and 60.
To support women with companies that wish to reinvent and strengthen their businesses, making them more competitive in the market, the sessions will be held in the evening (from 4 to 8 pm).
"The participants who pass through this stage will enter the contest for the selection of 10 projects that will be mentored, promoted and awarded seed capital for its launch," the mayor advances.
Also for unemployed
For their part, unemployed women who have considered self-employment at some point will receive a workshop in the morning (from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.).
This will deal with motivation and personal and professional guidance, coaching and the promotion of self-esteem in order to give them the impetus they need to fulfill their work objectives.
"These face-to-face workshops serve to know the work possibilities of each one," says Sánchez.
