The literary association 'The Towers' celebrated last Saturday February 24 - a few days late - the Valentine's Day, considered the 'pattern' of lovers.
He did it with an evening at the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' 'in which -under the title' De todo corazón'- poems of love from different authors were read.
In the voice of the members of the amateur theater group 'Tejuba', the compositions of writers such as Ramón de Campoamor, Federico García Lorca and Carolina Coronado were heard.
In addition, the spectators enjoyed the musical performances of Lola Gómez and the Coro and Rondalla of the Center for the Elderly of the municipality.
An act that was presided over by the mayor Isabel María Zapata -which also did her bit with a reading- and by the president of the association itself, the Torreño poet Salvador Sandoval.
