The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has held this afternoon an act of rejection of gender violence, which has been chaired by the mayor Isabel María Zapata.

It has been a concentration carried out in the Plaza Adolfo Suárez, in which the council has proceeded to read a manifesto against this social scourge.

A gesture from the town to express its total rejection and condemnation of any show of violence, especially gender.

"Yesterday we lived one of these sad episodes in our town and we are dismayed by it, although happy because the young victim is recovering," said Zapata, who wanted to send all their support to her and her family.
