The Cabildo Superior de Cofradías of Las Torres de Cotillas has once again extended its Diorama on the Passion of Christ.
This installation, located in the permanent exhibition of the local Holy Week that is located in the old Town Hall, already has three new scenes: the Last Supper, the triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the wedding of Canaan.
These are added to those already existing, which reflect other passages such as the Via Dolorosa, the crucifixion or the resurrection, in a permanent sample that can be visited for free (previous telephone reservation at 609.611.424).
"This pioneering project in the Region was born three years ago and has municipal support, thanks to the transfer of facilities and many of the figures on display," explains the Mayoress Torrena Isabel María Zapata, who presided over the opening ceremony together with the President of the aforementioned Cabildo José Sánchez.
"It is an initiative that we are very excited about, people are responding phenomenally and we continue working to expand it with new passages," says Sanchez, who thanked the parish priest of the Church of Our Lady of La Salceda Ismael Sánchez new scenes
