Nearly 700 students participate in Las Torres de Cotillas in a new edition of the road education campaign organized by the councils of Education and Public Safety, in collaboration with the Local Police and Civil Protection.
After the theoretical phase held in the schools themselves, currently and until March 8, the practical part of the municipal sports center road park is celebrated.
"The children will be able to demonstrate by bicycle what they have learned about traffic regulations, in a circuit that reproduces these streets for our 'drivers' with signs such as traffic lights, zebra crossings or stops," explains Mayor Isabel María Zapata.
This year this initiative is aimed at schoolchildren divided between the cycles of Early Childhood Education of 5 years, 4th of Primary and 2nd of Secondary of the following centers of the municipality: 'Valentín Buendía', 'Vista Alegre', 'El Parque' , 'Cervantes', 'Divino Maestro', 'Monteazahar', 'Susarte', 'San José' and 'Joaquín Cantero', as well as the IES 'Salvador Sandoval' and 'La Florida'.
Closing
March 14 will be the closing day, in which the participating students will receive their corresponding accrediting diplomas.
A day that will also serve so that the best 'drivers' of the practical classes made a demonstration of what they learned in the park of mobile traffic for bicycles.
