This morning they started the workshops of the 'GIRA Women' project, launched by the company 'Coca-Cola' and the Institute of Promotion of the Region of Murcia, in the Business Center of Las Torres de Cotillas. They have the collaboration of the Torreño City Council .
"This initiative was created to promote the empowerment of women in decision-making in their professional and personal areas, through the promotion of their projects, and work and personal initiatives," explains Mayor Isabel María Zapata, who has officially opened these days.
This initiative is divided into two free training days and will conclude tomorrow, March 15.
"They are workshops for both entrepreneurs and for unemployed from 23 to 60 years and participants will enter the contest for the selection of 10 projects that will be mentored, promoted and awarded seed capital for its release", advances the Councilor for Employment, Ángel González.
"These face-to-face workshops serve to know the work possibilities of each one", points out the Councilor for Equality, María Dolores Sánchez, who points out that this is the end of the program of events organized by her Council to celebrate on March 8.
