It will be tomorrow, Saturday, March 17, first in the Plaza Mayor (19 hours) and then in the Church of La Salceda (8:30 pm)
It already smells of Easter in Las Torres de Cotillas, celebrations that officially begin tomorrow, March 17 in the municipality.
And they will do so with two outstanding acts that will surely have a large influx of public: on the one hand, the traditional homage to the Nazarene (19 hours);
and, on the other, the proclamation (20'30 hours) that the former mayor Domingo Coronado will read.
The tribute to the Nazarene, with the mayor Isabel María Zapata and the president of the local council of the local brotherhoods José Sánchez in front, will take place in the Plaza Mayor and will have a wreath.
Later, a procession will be started with the banners of the brotherhoods Torrena through the streets of the municipality to the Church of Our Lady of Salceda.
There will be where the proclamation of Coronado will take place, in an act in which Antonio Hernández will also be distinguished as 'Nazarene of the Year', to which his special dedication to Torrena Holy Week in all aspects has been recognized.
Affection and affection
Coronado has been chosen by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías of Las Torres de Cotillas with the absolute approval of all the brotherhoods of the municipality.
"Domingo has always shown his affection and affection for the Holy Week of our town and with this recognition we have wanted to give him back all the effort he has put into making it grow during his 14 years as mayor," explains the president of the Cabildo, José Sánchez.
The preacher's speech will serve as a prelude to the parades of passion in the town.
"The first appointment will be on Sunday, March 18 at 12 o'clock with the children's procession and on March 23, the traditional procession will begin, with the procession of Friday of Dolores," says Sanchez.
