Hundreds of children from Las Torres de Cotillas participated in the morning of Sunday, March 18, in the second edition of the children's procession of the Holy Week in the municipality.
A parade that premiered last year with great success of participation and that this year returned to triumph in that aspect.
"It is a joy to see our little ones parading, carrying those thrones and images that have been made to their size", highlights the president of the Town Council of the local Brotherhoods, José Sánchez, who recalls that this act is only for boys and girls under 16 years old.
Departing from Church of the Virgen de la Salceda, this procession toured the streets Mayor, Mula, Campo, Calvillo and Mayor to return to their point of origin.
"In addition, the streets were full of family, friends and neighbors, who did not want to miss this very endearing event," adds Mayor Isabel María Zapata, who participated in the procession presiding over the delegation of authorities.
A Holy Week that officially started on Saturday March 17 in the municipality with two outstanding acts: on the one hand, the traditional tribute to the Nazarene;
and, on the other, the proclamation read by the former mayor Domingo Coronado.
After this children's parade, next March 23 will begin the traditional processions, with the Friday of Dolores.
