After the first acts of Holy Week celebrated last weekend -the proclamation of former mayor Domingo Coronado and the second edition of the children's procession- on Friday, March 23, traditional parades begin at Las Torres de Cotillas.
It will be with the procession of the Virgen de los Dolores (20:30 hours), which after a Via Crucis (19 hours) and a mass will depart from the Church of Our Lady of Salceda.
In this way the Torrena streets will be dyed white and blue with a procession starring the Nazarenes of the Brotherhood of the Virgen de los Dolores, who will proudly carry their titular image.
On Saturday, March 24, the drums will return to roar in the town with the 'Tamborada Torreña' (18 hours).
Its participants will concentrate on the Plaza del Maestro Don Angel Palazón, in front of the old City Hall and after giving free rein to the love for their instruments they will leave to tour the municipality with their cheerful and noisy sounds.
In addition, that same day in the Church of Our Lady of Salceda will take place the Mass of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Crucified Christ (19'30 hours).
