'Linasa' was the second visit of the students of the mixed employment and training program of the National Youth Guarantee System that takes place in Las Torres de Cotillas.
After his first outing, which was aimed at the company cleaning chemicals, insecticides and air fresheners 'Forquisa', his journey by local companies took them a few days ago to this cleaning products company.
Specifically, they were the participants in the program of 'Cleaning in open spaces and industrial facilities', which is subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and co-financed by the European Social Fund.
"Founded in 1955, 'Linasa' is one of the leading European companies in the sector and its main activity is the development and manufacture of products for washing clothes, cleaning the home and personal care," says Councilman Angel Employment González, who also participated in the activity. "These young people, within their training that will last for six months, are visiting companies in the municipality to become familiar with the labor market," explains the mayor.
In this workshop, after a theoretical period of three months, their 15 students are already performing road cleaning tasks in the municipality and its districts, emphasizing the vicinity of all schools, sports centers and districts.
Also street cleaning
Currently, thanks to the National Youth Guarantee System there is another program underway in Las Torres de Cotillas.
One is the one of 'Street cleaning', with which the Torreño City council has contracted 7 pawns during a period of 6 months.
"Both have a total subsidy of about 186,000 euros," highlights the mayor Torrena, Isabel María Zapata, "and participants will receive a professional certificate concluded workshops."
