The permanent exhibition of the Holy Week of Las Torres de Cotillas, which the local Cabildo Superior de Cofradías has located in the old City Hall, significantly increases the number of visits during these dates.
"Before going on vacation we received the visit of the students of the schools' Valentín Buendía, 'Susarte' and 'Divino Maestro', who responded to the invitation we have sent to all schools," explains the president of the aforementioned Cabildo José Sánchez, who points out that a group from the Molina de Segura day center have also recently passed through these facilities.
This permanent exhibition, for which the Torreño Consistory has ceded the installations and many of the exhibited figures, offers in its free arranged visits samples of photos and posters of the Holy Week, dressed in vintage Nazarene, banners, etc.
In addition, it has an important diorama that shows different scenes of the Passion of Christ, such as the Last Supper, the triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the wedding of Canaan (the most recent ones) or others such as the Via Dolorosa, the Crucifixion or the Resurrection.
"It is a pioneering project in the Region of Murcia, which was born three years ago and for which we bet very strongly," says Sanchez, who recalls that visits can be arranged by calling 672.532.680.
