The streets of Las Torres de Cotillas remained silent on the night of yesterday, Holy Wednesday.

And they did it, as tradition dictates, on the occasion of the ceremonious procession of Silence, which was carried out by the Nazarenes of the brotherhood of the Most Holy Crucified Christ.

Thus, one more year the black robes, solemnity and recollection took the municipality to parade through the usual route of Torrena processions (exit from the Church of La Salceda, Fernández Jara street, Reyes Católicos street, Campo street, Mula street, Main street and back to the temple).

A procession that had two preambles: on the one hand, a minute of silence was kept in memory of the two residents of the municipality killed last Tuesday;

and, on the other hand, the members of the bell of auroros 'Virgen del Rosario' local dedicated some of their traditional songs to the Christ.

Holy Thursday

With a Mass dinner of the Lord in the two Torrena Parishes (the one of Nuestra Señora de la Salceda at 7:00 pm and the one of Our Lady of the Assumption in Los Pulpites at 7:30 pm) will be celebrated today, March 29 on Holy Thursday in the Holy Week Torrena, which will also see in both temples the commemoration of the Holy Hour (22 and 22:30 hours).
