Francisco Bernabé has focused his exhibition on the work of Cartagena Arturo Pérez-Reverte and, more specifically, in the books of Captain Alatriste
Government delegate Francisco Bernabé has participated in the morning of today Thursday, April 12 in the series 'Appointment with my author' of the IES 'La Florida' of Las Torres de Cotillas.
He has done so with a talk in which he has spoken about one of his favorite writers, Arturo Pérez-Reverte, in a proposal addressed to the 1st and 2nd year students of the center's Baccalaureate.
The exhibition, which was attended by the first deputy mayor Ángel González and the councilor of Culture and Education Pedro Cabrera, has focused on the series of novels by the Cartagena author about one of his most popular characters: Captain Alatriste.
At the end, the young people present were able to ask Bernabé questions about the work of Pérez-Reverte and his literary tastes.
Promote reading
This cycle aims to approximate students to literature through popular characters -such as the writer Carmen Posadas, the bullfighter Pepín Liria, the painter Pedro Cano or the journalist Alberto Aguirre de Carcer-, who talk in their talk about their book and of its favorite author. "The experience of having interesting speakers nearby is undoubtedly an attraction to awaken the concern for the reading of our students", explains Professor Belén Pardo, coordinator of this activity.
