The renovation works of the sanitation collector that runs along Bolivia Street and Calle Mayor have already started in Las Torres de Cotillas.
"These works will improve the network of elimination of wastewater in the area, which end up in the purifier of our municipality," explains the mayor Isabel María Zapata, who says they have an investment of 242,000 euros provided by the regional government.
The increase of population and of flows in the area during the last years is causing problems -such as 'bottlenecks' or breaks-, that with this project will be solved with the implantation of new PVC pipes of greater capacity.
"This will also involve the adaptation of household connections to connect them to new pipes", explains the Councilor for Maintenance of the City Immaculate Fernandez.
Other works
The performance will take place in Bolivia Street, between the intersections with Cristóbal Colón and Mayor streets, and in Calle Mayor, between the intersections with Velázquez and Bolivia streets.
Some works to improve the network of elimination of wastewater from the municipality, in addition to those made in the collector of the Pulpites neighborhood, recently completed.
