The championship of Spain of parabádminton left very good news for the badminton club 'The Towers', since Sergio Arques and Amalia Martinez - two of its members - were made with silver and bronze medals respectively.
A tournament played in Granollers and organized by the Spanish Federation of Badminton in which participants increased significantly compared to other editions
"Sergio was runner-up in the SL4 category, losing a very tight final by two sets to one, while Amalia finished third in the WH2 category", explains the mayor Isabel María Zapata, who wanted to send "congratulations to both on behalf of the people of Las Torres de Cotillas ".
"Amalia confirms its importance in this sport in our country, since in the last national got two golds and one silver, imposes in the categories of female and mixed doubles, and be second in individual", explains the councilor of Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta.
