The residents of the hamlet of pulpits Cotillas Towers fired on the night of Sunday 15 August its festivities in honor of its patron saint, the Virgin of the Assumption in a weekend marked by the bad weather prevailing throughout our region.
They did so with a day that was in the afternoon with the traditional procession in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption Church departs from the pulpits.
A parade in which the patron was accompanied both by the residents of the hamlet as the band of Cieza.
To conclude the events, late at night fired a fireworks display that put the icing on an emotional weekend.
A festival that should have begun last Friday 13 August with a proposal to the smallest, but had to postpone the next day by bad weather.
Thus, in the plaza of the Church of the hamlet Torrena developed several games for children, with mattresses included.
And on Saturday night August 14 at the same stage, it was the turn to enjoy the live music offered by the group "Cuadro Flamenco" also in the church square pulpitera, a performance that was, like all programmed events, with free admission.
