The Municipal School Cross Towers Cotillas lived on the morning of Tuesday 18 January a new edition, which involve about 500 students from nine schools in the municipality.
The test, again organized by the local Sports Council in collaboration with the Directorate General of Sports of the regional government, took place on the grounds of "The Play" against Polideportivo municipal, and divided into categories that were played on a staggered.
Thus, participants in support of a female fry ran 950 meters, while the male fry did over 1,200 meters.
For its part, the runners of the categories of child and juvenile female cadet also covered 1,200 meters, while the male children traveled 1,900 meters and the cadets and young men played their test on over 2,150 meters.
Many awards
Sheathed in their clothing and footwear, students competed for the prizes (the top three in each category and two ranked teams, plus a trophy, each participating school remember), which were delivered by early afternoon Councillors Torreño Sports, Juan Carlos Martinez, and Education, Pedro Cabrera.
In addition, this test was the final qualifying school for all schools in the Region of Murcia to be held 15 days later.
It should be noted that the organization distributed free bottles of water and energy bars all runners.
"This race is a proposal that serves to promote the culture of sport and healthy lifestyles among young people," Martinez said.
