Plan E has invested in Cotillas Towers more than 5.6 million in 9 projects
The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, today launched the Social Center of the hamlet of La Florida, a building that will serve as a meeting place and meeting the locals.
The budget that has had the construction of this facility, funded entirely by the plan E of the Government of Spain, has been 768,000 euros.
The work was carried out on a plot of over 1,000 square meters and has two floors.
The social center, situated at Adelfas, has inside a meeting room and promote friendly relations among the neighbors, in addition to canteen, pantry, workshops, offices, toilets, patio and a room gerontogimnasia between another kit.
González Tovar has advanced to the Government of Spain, Plan E, "has promoted the welfare Cotillas Towers starting with the construction of the social center where residents can meet for cultural activities and entertainment, and ending with various social programs that are conducted in the municipality, such as those rendered to the Center Titina Child Care. "
These programs, also funded by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability Plan E, 2010, have received more than 443,000 euros and include the catering and kitchen management center Titina childcare, expenses staff of this center, the cost of custodial staff in schools from kindergarten and primary, and the cost of fuel for heating and electricity for public schools in the municipality.
Of these services have benefited more than 3,200 people.
In addition, Gonzalez Tovar recalled that at the Center for Children Titina, the Government of Spain also fully financed solar photovoltaic installation valued at 180,000 euros and will represent a considerable energy and cost savings to the municipality.
Renewal of urban infrastructure
The delegate and the mayor also visited the proceedings concerning the renewal of various urban infrastructure in the bathroom of The Vicentes neighborhood of the barracks and energy saving measures in public lighting, all with funding in excess of 706,000 euros.
The E Plan creates 178 jobs Cotillas Towers
The Government representative stated that the objectives of Plan E "have been met and exceeded in Cotillas Towers, since it has been energizing the local economy, have made significant infrastructure that all residents can enjoy and has created jobs ", namely a total of 178 jobs.
This has been possible thanks to investment from the Government of Spain of more than 5.6 million euros, the largest investment received by the City in its history.
