The Minister of Regional Government Presidency, Pedro María Reverte, and the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, was officially inaugurated in the morning of Tuesday 22 March, the new Town Hall of the municipality, which will provide a more effective and efficiently to citizens and facilitate the management and administrative processes.
This project had an investment of 7,000,000 euros, of which the regional government has contributed 640,000 euros and the rest was financed through the area planning agreement.
The new building, located on the street D'Estoup, has a total area of ​​7,832 meters square useful, spread over six floors, two of them in the basement and basement.
Thus, the mission of the new building is to bring together various municipal services, which so far are installed at various points in the town, to provide better service to citizens.
The basement of the building will house the file, garage, full room and offices, among other agencies, while the surface is located plants in the different councils and other municipal services.
This action also included the development of the environment, which has built a new plaza and a parking with 142 places and has built-up commercial and residential area adjacent.
Gradual installation
"The municipal departments will gradually installing the new Town Hall from the first half of April," said Coronado, who pointed out that the first to do so will be "those who do not serve the public, such as speech, mayor, etc. ".

This new Town Hall will replace existing municipal buildings, dating from 1970 and have remained small for the services they currently have to pay the Consistory, taking into account population growth and the assumption of new responsibilities and increased personal.
