The amateur theater group "Tejuba" Las Torres de Cotillas represented in the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Torrena on Saturday March 26 the play "La Venganza de Don Mendo", popular play by Pedro Muñoz Seca.
The representation of this slapstick, which had free admission, had the participation of about 20 actors and was framed in the programming of the Department of Culture Torrena.
In this comic opera, set in medieval Spain, where everything revolves around jokes, puns and humor hits, Don Mendo is betrayed by his lover, Madeleine, seeing that you can access a position close to the King marrying his favorite, uses it to get to indulge his ambition.
A work of Muñoz Seca as part of the repertoire of "Tejuba", which are pieces like "The House of Bernarda Alba," "The third word" or "Tenorio."
And to complete the cultural offer of the month, the Literary Association "Las Torres" in collaboration with the local Department of Culture, will organize a new edition of its Literary Thursday. "
This will take place next Thursday, March 31 (as is tradition, the last Thursday of the month) and will serve for presentation at the town's book of poems "The Hidden Moon" by Pascual López (20.30 hours).
The venue will once again be the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" and during the event will read several pieces contained in this work.

The cultural offer of the month of March has also had two other plays with free entrance to the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna."
