The 12 students / workers' employment workshop "home help assistant" of Cotillas Towers are already serving in the municipality.
The objectives of this proposal are to provide the necessary care to individuals or groups of families with difficulties in their independence, prevent deterioration personal situations, family and society, promoting the acquisition of skills which enable more autonomous development in the life daily or delay or prevent institutionalization.
In addition, students are learning to perform tasks such as family support groups in their caring responsibilities, complete the work of the family and improve the quality of life, seeking a more secure existence, independent of the people served.
This job shop is in addition to "building maintenance", which also has 12 students / workers and that has been done for weeks in Las Torres de Cotillas.
The work of its members is to make small repairs of masonry, plumbing and electricity, mainly in the public schools of the locality.
Specific programs
Both workshops are funded by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the regional government with about 520,000 euros, which will add a municipal contribution of 30,000, and all participants are between 25 and 55, with more than 12 months registered with the employment office.
Moreover, these projects, which will end in December 2011 - also entail the hiring of a director, a business management monitor, monitor, home help and monitor building maintenance.
