This past weekend 2 and April 3 Cotillas Towers has welcomed the "XXIX Regional Festival of Song Scout, organized by the Clans of the Scout Groups Southern Cross, Gilwell, Kenya, Ithaca and Explorers of Murcia.
The participants, coming from different parts of the region, camped in the popularly known as "Park Station, near the sports area of ​​the municipality, where they performed various activities divided by age groups (beavers, cubs, scouts, Scouting rovers ...).
The festival gave five awards: best song for Best Performance, Best Music, Best Lyrics and Best staging and choreography.
The award ceremony took place on the afternoon of Saturday, April 2 at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" local and counted as guests with the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, Youth CEOs, Veronica Lopez, and Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, Pablo Fernandez and local Councillor for Youth, Pedro Cabrera.
In addition, throughout the weekend hundreds of young scouts, from 6 years conducted various activities day and night, concentrated especially on Sunday April 3, designed as a day of coexistence in which not missed a massive food that was the aftermath of the nice weekend.
