On the night of April 15 on Friday opened at the Young Artists Center Towers Cotillas the exhibition "From nymphs and butterflies", which can be visited in the evening (17 to 20 hours) Monday through Friday until on 29 April.
In this inaugural event open to the public attended the artist responsible for it, the Catalan Ana María Almagro, and the official chronicler of the Villa, Ricardo Montes, and was invited Councillor for Culture Torreño, Domingo Cava.
This exhibition showcases the work of the artist on silk, versatile painter uses various techniques to carry out his work: oils, pastels, specializing in painting on silk, a technique that requires great precision due to the expansion of the pigments liquids on the fabric.
A very Murcia Catalan
Almagro has had solo exhibitions throughout the Region of Murcia (Lorca, Aguilas, Cehegín, Moratalla, Caravaca, Murcia, Cieza, Abarán, Ceutí ...) as well as in other parts of the national territory (Madrid, Almería, Toledo, Zaragoza, etc.) or parts of France, Portugal, Italy ... It has won several prizes in drawing and painting, including accords on the occasion of the V Centenary of the Appearance of Christ ", the" Regional Design Award "(2005) during the "IV Centenario del Quijote", etc.
