On Tuesday May 3 began in the Social Center of the district of Carmen de Las Torres de Cotillas a sewing workshop for people at risk of social exclusion, set in the cooperation agreement signed between the City Torreño and "Project Abraham" .
This proposal, which offers free tuition, will be held throughout the month of May from Monday to Friday morning (from 9.30 to 13.30) and involves a total of 13 women (seven Moroccans, three Senegalese , an Algerian, a Malian and one Spanish).
To carry out this course, in which both participants are learning to sew, repair and recycle items like sewing to make new, "Project Abraham" has provided the necessary equipment (sewing machines, scissors, needles ...) and has hired an instructor.
For its part, the local Town Hall has provided both local volunteer monitors support.
"The" Project Abraham "develop an ecological economic activity based on a model of sustainable development and is an authorized agent of non-hazardous waste, such as textile, footwear and toys," pointing from the organization.
