The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has recently begun the renovation of the Plaza Tirso de Molina, with a surface area of ​​4,900 m2.
This work, awarded to the company "Pavasal, SA", have a budget of almost 552,000 euros and will allow, among other works, the renewal of pavement, sidewalks, curbs and street furniture.
Furthermore, the objective of this work is to unify space clearing traffic areas, to provide a feeling of spaciousness.
It will allow road traffic restricted by LED illuminated retractable bollards to allow access to private garages and emergency services.

"This area is very popular in the town and has a high pedestrian traffic, as in its surroundings are famous landmarks such as the Home for the Elderly, the school," Cervantes "or the Center for Young Artists," says Planning Torrena the mayor, Yolanda Muñoz, who notes that these works "respect and build on existing vegetation to create comfortable living areas, away from traffic, with shady conditions and temperatures appropriate."
