Is currently conducting a larviciding with a biopesticide formulated with a bacterium selectively toxic to mosquito larvae.
"When ingested by the mosquito in the larval stage, the toxin attacks the body and kills the insect," says Councillor Torrena Environment, Inmaculada Fernández, who notes that after completing this work will begin treatment with insecticide.
"This task allows for the inconvenience caused by these insects are reduced," said Fernandez.
This measure of control and processing is part of the collaboration agreement signed with the neighboring towns of the Vega Media of the Segura River.
