The "Young Artists Center" in Las Torres de Cotillas hosts Friday October 21 morning (20 hours) the opening of the exhibition "Painting and Photography at Essence" by Stephanie Fernandez Lopez.

The official ceremony will be chaired by the Mayor Torrena, Domingo Coronado, the councilman of Culture, José Joaquín Liceras, and the director of that center, Ricardo Montes.

This exhibition, which features free admission, will be active until next November 4 in the evening (17 to 20 hours).

Stephanie Fernandez Lopez (Cotillas Towers, 1984) has a degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Navarra and currently pursuing a doctorate at the Center for Molecular Biology Severo Ochoa in Madrid.

"When I'm wearing the white coat lame brushes, markers, or the camera and let the rest come alone," he reveals.

"I've done since I was little and I'll keep doing. It's my way to disconnect," he explains.

2009 First prize in the competition "Creative Owl" Torrena in the categories of youth painting and sculpture, has exhibited his paintings and photographs at various locations in our country.

In addition, on Thursday October 20 (21 hours) is celebrated edition of the "Literary Thursday", organized once again by the Literary Association "Las Torres".

On this occasion held at the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna" a reading of poems in the collection "A Safe Shores", which helps the local amateur theater group "Tejuba."

Other activities in October

This October, the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas has had other cultural offerings, such as craft exhibition of "Day Center" local, which took place between 4 and 15 months.

Also on Friday, the association "Acultamar" held at the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna" a poetry of town starring Juan Jose Ruiz, who helped the group "cinnamon."

On Sunday, October 9 also took place in the House of Culture Torrena a charity concert by Lorca in charge of the Municipal Band "Association of Friends of Music".
