The House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Las Torres de Cotillas welcomed in the morning on Friday 18 November, the "First Meeting of geriatric care assistants" organized by the employment workshop "Community Services" from the local council - Assistant specializing in home help.
This proposal also had the collaboration of both students' own employment workshop and the workshop Torrena jobs "Cofrisol VI" of Murcia.
The purpose of this day, whose motto was "For a just and dignified life," was to reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of the profession, find creative alternatives in the labor market participation and bring findings of this joint work to industry professionals.

The event featured free admission and started in the early hours with the official opening, which was undertaken by the Councillor for Equality of the municipality, Gloria Fernandez.
Then came the first presentation, which focused on "Advantages and disadvantages of health and social care."
By mid-morning coffee break was held to resume the program with talk of "Dependency Law" by Maria Jose Martinez (social worker "Onosal" home care company).
The third and last presentation was titled "Creative Alternatives", while the latest proposal was the exhibition of the decalogue ethical and professional geriatric care assistant.
