Today, Wednesday, December 7 have collected their diplomas from the mayor Torrena, Domingo Coronado, and the director of SEF, Ginés Martínez.

On the morning of December 7 Wednesday the Plenary Hall of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has hosted the official closing ceremony of the municipality's employment workshops.

In it, students have collected their diplomas for the mayor Torrena, Domingo Coronado, director of Employment and Training Service (SEF), Ginés Martínez, and the local Councillor for Employment, Gloria Fernandez.

"I hope you have been happy during these 12 months and that what is learned in these workshops will serve to find the job security you deserve," he expressed Coronado, which has encouraged the graduates to "be active now in the job search ".

These workshops have been funded by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the regional government with about 520,000 euros, which has added a municipal contribution of 30,000.

Clear objectives

These workshops, which have lasted 12 months, were divided into two terms and had 12 students / workers between 25 and 55 years each.

On the one hand, the "home care assistant" that had among its objectives to provide the necessary care to individuals or groups of families with difficulties in their autonomy, to prevent situations of deteriorating personal, familial and social, to promote the acquisition of skills that enable their development more independent in daily life or delay or prevent institutionalization.

In addition, students also learn to perform tasks such as family support groups in their care responsibilities, complete the work of the family and improve the quality of life, ensuring a more secure and independent existence to the people served.

And, secondly, the "Building Maintenance", whose purpose was to make minor repairs to masonry, plumbing and electricity, mainly in public schools in the locality.
