The Department of Culture Cotillas Towers has called the literary contest "Young Talents - Salvador Sandoval Poet Award" which will distribute $ 1,000 in prize money and trophies, a competition which is divided into two types: A, where they can participate students in school and vocational training, which at the close of the submission period, not exceeding 20 years, and B, which may arise students of Secondary Education (ESO).
"In this competition young people can submit a poem, verses 14 to 30, or a short story of between one and three pages," said Councilman Torreño of Culture, José Licerán, who notes that "the deadline for work concluded on 12 March. "
The prizes of this contest will be distributed as follows: in category A will be awarded a prize of 300 euros and a trophy for the best poem, the same award to receive the best story, and in the mode B will be 200 euros and a trophy both the best poem and the best story.

There will also be special prizes for schools which are registered in the winners who will receive a certificate of recognition and a lot of books for their libraries.
Also, the finalists in each genre and mode are also distinguished with a diploma and the publication of the works.
The jury will be announced on 27 April, during the ceremony commemorating the "World Book Day" to be held at the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna" Las Torres de Cotillas and which also deliver the awards and winning entries will be read.
Prior to this day, the authors will read during the "Literary Thursday" organized by the Literary Association "Las Torres" papers presented to the contest.
