On the morning of Monday 20 February has performed in Las Torres de Cotillas the "First Week of the Spanish Association for Development of Transplant (AET)" of the municipality, which will be held from today until Sunday 26.
In this act have been involved, among other authorities, the councilman of Culture Torreño, Jose Joaquin Licerán, the CEO of AET, Victorio Melgarejo, President of the "Area Commercial Towers", Francisco Jimenez, and the president of "Toi SC Artisans et Moi ", Manuel Pastor.
This "I Week of Solidarity" has a program of activities that begins this afternoon with the opening of the exhibition "Art for Life" (19 hours), to be held at the Center for Young Artists of the locality.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 21 (19 hours) will be held at the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna" Torrena a poetry reading by Victor Miguel, on a date which will also feature the screening of the film "Traces", directed by Liberto Rabal.
The next day, Wednesday 22 February, the same venue will host the conference "Customs and Traditions" (19 hours).
Until the weekend
"The importance of prevention in the Transplant Problem" is the title of the conference to be held on Thursday, February 23 (19 hours) in the House of Culture Torrena.
It will participate as speakers AET president, Juan Pedro Bathrooms, vice president of the association "ALCER" Cristobal Quintero, and managers of clinical medical specialties "Moma" Macarena Sanchez Fernandez and Moses.
For the weekend torreños can visit a craft market which opens on Friday February 24 and will feature demonstrations of crafts.
Located on the Esplanade Master Don Angel Palazón and a game schedule (from 11 to 14.30 and from 17 to 22 hours), will officially open on Friday at 19 pm and will close on Sunday.
What is TEA?
The Spanish Association of Transplant was established in 1999 with the main objective to provide comprehensive care for chronic transplant patient, the patient generally chronic and waiting for a transplant, as well as the general public to prevent chronic diseases resulting in the need of a transplant.
"We believe in solidarity with a project that affects many people living close to the issue of the need for organ donation," note from the TEP, which has over 60,000 members today.
"We want not a single Spanish town unaware of the essential reality of the need to donate organs and carry this permanent campaign conducted throughout Spain from our constitution," they write.
