Students of 1 ESO Secondary School in the neighborhood of La Florida Cotillas Towers have been made on the morning of Friday 24 February a visit to the Municipal Ecoparque the resort, where they could learn more about operation of these facilities.
On this visit, students have received Torreño center a short talk by the Environmental technical municipal waste in the classroom for environmental education that provides the Ecopark City, designed to properly store waste that-either because of their quantity or in danger, hinder its municipal management should place them in containers for collection of MSW (municipal solid waste).
After this discussion, young people have done a tour of their facilities, thus completing a school in which they have known, among other things, that the Ecopark electronic waste can be deposited, small and large appliances, batteries, oils plant, motor oil, clothing and footwear, paper and cardboard, trimmings, fluorescent X-rays, etc..
"They have also been explained that all this waste is stored temporarily and then are transported to sorting plants, where they separate, recover and recycle the materials back to use later," said the councilor Torrena Environment, Immaculate Fernandez.
