About 600 students from various schools of Las Torres de Cotillas enrolled a year in road safety education campaign organized jointly by the departments of Education and Public Safety in the municipality, in collaboration with the local police and the body of Civil Protection the locality.
This proposal, aimed at students from five years of primary education, 4 ° of Elementary and Secondary School 2nd-ended on Thursday 29 March at the Municipal Sports Centre with the closing ceremony, in which all participating school received his diploma.
This event was chaired by Councillor Torreño of Public Safety, José Pedro Noguera, and the chief officer of the Local Police of Las Torres, Juan Arnaldos.
This proposal was a year with two parts: first, the theoretical, in which the students learned the basics of traffic, and, second, practice, in which the kids in the park developed mobile traffic bicycle facilities located in the municipal sports center where students demonstrated their learning in their saddles the road theory.
New this year the school had in their practices with a driver's license points, so that, as in real life, their violations were penalized in these documents.
Annex to the campaign
Schools that have participated in this campaign on road safety education Cotillas Towers were: the "Cervantes", "San Jose I" and "San Jose II" "Park", "Buendia Valentine," "Divine Master" "Monte Azahar", "Cantero Joaquin" and "Susarte".
"As an annex to the campaign, will soon be taught to students of 3 rd and 4 th High School and Bachelor of 1 local institutes of the two lectures on drug addiction and its effects related to road safety," said the Councillor for Education, Pedro Cabrera.
