Learning from seniors through fun activities.
That was the purpose of the meeting held intergenerational last Thursday May 10 the students of 6th Primary Education School "San Jose" in Las Torres de Cotillas with members of the Home of the Elders of the village.
Thus the day began with a poetry reading by poet Torreño-and partner-Salvador Sandoval center, which recalled his childhood and the day of her First Communion.
Subsequently, the theater group led by Joaquin Central Cantero-represented the play "Blood Gorda", the brothers Alvarez Quintero, representation that trovos followed a recital by Manuel Reina.
After lunch it was time for craft activities with the greatest of the Day Centre, and the pitch workshop with partners of the Social Centre.
"It's a fun, easy and fun to our children learn our traditions without being heavy and then to have fun with them and so do not miss," said local Councillor for Education, Pedro Cabrera, who notes that this visit is part of the celebration on April 29 the "European Day of Intergenerational Solidarity."
