Cotillas Towers these days being home of the "Hands and feet" of the European program "Comenius", so that 20 teachers from six schools in the European Union (Germany, Wales, Finland, Italy, Romania and Turkey) are involved next to the school "San Jose" Torreño.
"Within our class schedule include proposals relating to this project whose mainstay is English, which deals with all kinds of activities that are done with the hands and feet, as professions, sports, crafts ..." says Faustino Fernandez, director the school "San Jose", who notes that "all children in the center of one way or another involved in addition to exchange emails with students from other countries."
Teachers, who are also performing in the afternoon sightseeing to places such as Murcia, Cartagena and the Mar Menor, have worked this week at school, "San Jose".
"We have explained how our educational system and were able to check in person, assisting the work of teachers in elementary and primary classes, and interacting with students in English," says Fernandez.
Quotations where teachers meet held every two or three months after the first, which was in Italy, have already worked together in Germany, Finland and now in Spain.
And on the occasion of this visit in the morning yesterday May 25 teachers were welcomed to the Plenary Hall of the Consistory Torreño by, among other authorities, local councilors of Education, Pedro Cabrera, and Culture, José Joaquín Licerán, who acted as translator.
Upon receipt, the City of Las Torres de Cotillas presented a gift to the delegations of each country.
