The Home of the Senior Towers Cotillas held on the afternoon of Thursday 14 June the closing ceremony of the workshops and activities that have taken place in the center during the course of 2011-12.
Some proposals have been made in the afternoon Monday through Friday and lasted from last September until this June.
In this final year festival attended by about 200 people and involved various artistic groups from the center, as the Chorus, the Rondalla, the group "Pasodoble Aires", the theater, the "Flemish Painting," training " Cinnamon Branch ", the ballroom dance and the dances.
The performance of the groups began at five in the afternoon and lasted about two hours, after which the sample began baking in which 40 members and associates of the Center participated by presenting their sweets.
All subjects were given a certificate in appreciation for their participation and finally to a draw among the participants in the sample.
"Our elders are one of the groups most active and dynamic Cotillas Towers and show both their annual events such as workshops and artistic performances with in our town and beyond," said Fina Almela, Councillor of Social Services Torrena .
