The City of Las Torres de Cotillas already has launched a new edition of its "Initial Vocational Training Program," which provides the academic year 2012-2013, in the form of professional workshop specializing in operations-mounted auxiliary power grid .
The course began on November 16, will last until July 30, 2013 and has 600 hours, whose weekly workload -30 hours-50% is divided between modules linked to learning specific nature of the profession and other of general scientific related technology, communication, social, etc.
Aimed at young people 16 to 20 years with no formal educational qualifications, this course, offered only in the municipalities of Murcia and Cotillas Towers, is funded entirely from 40,000 euros by the Directorate General of Vocational and Adult Education of regional government.
Upon completion of the program, students can perform the job of assistant electrical lineman, pawn industry of production and distribution of electricity or operator of low voltage electrical installations.
"The main objective of this program is the professional family in electricity and electronics, facilitate labor market entry to students who complete these studies," said Councilwoman Torrena Jobs, Gloria Fernandez, who visited students last November 29, accompanied by his colleague of Culture and Celebration, Isabel Franco.
