The "Project Abraham" has recently started in the Youth House Cotillas Towers their "Sewing Workshop II", a proposal to free tuition at the City Torreño works and in which participants are learning to repair sewing , repair, and recycle clothes and to make new garments.
On the morning of Monday December 10 Torrena Councillor of Social Policy, Fina Almela, accompanied by the director of the Center of Social Services, Agueda Sánchez, visited the workshop to be performed throughout the month of December in during the morning and goes to people at risk of social exclusion.
This proposal involved 12 women (two Moroccans, two Senegalese, a Romanian and Spanish 7), at a workshop in which the "Project Abraham" has provided the necessary material (an instructor, sewing machines, scissors, needles ...) and Consistory Torreño-through the Department of Social Policy, has made the selection of the students, and has provided local and voluntary support of the workshop instructor.
