The Department of Sports Cotillas Towers presented on Thursday morning May 2 on "Gymnastics Trophy IX Villa Las Torres", to be held at the Sports City in the town Torrena on Saturday May 4 with the participation of 14 clubs and 221 gymnasts from across the Region of Murcia.
The presentation, which took place in the Plenary Hall of the local consistory, was chaired by Councillor Torreño Sports, Ginés Pérez, president of the Federation of Gymnastics of the Region of Murcia, M ª Ángeles Díaz de Figueroa , and the president of the rhythmic gymnastics section "Athletics Club Towers", Juani Cantero.
The tournament will be held in six categories, whose participants run different disciplines of this sport: pre-baby and youngest (handsfree), juvenile (five turnovers), children (five rings), junior (ten clubs) and senior (three ring and two fumbles).
"The goal of this competition is a year promoting good weather sports and coexistence among athletes, coaches and the public," said Pérez Iniesta, who notes that this tournament a year consolidates as "a leader among promising young rhythmic gymnastics in the Region of Murcia ".
Also, the mayor of Sports Torreño wanted to thank the collaboration of the local body of Civil Protection, who will accompany you throughout the morning in organizing the event.
