The Governing Council has approved a protocol between the Ministry of Public Works and Planning and the City of Las Torres de Cotillas to facilitate access to a logistics zone of the town.
The RM-B37 road, linking with Cotillas Towers Northwest Highway, has become a hub of great importance for the economic development of the municipality, connecting the south of the town with this communication channel.
This, in turn, connects with the Mediterranean motorway and Andalusia.
Therefore, it is the sought for the installation of industries as logistics area.
The purpose of the protocol is to expedite the process for connecting a vital economic area in the county with the RM-B37 road, both attached currently a service road which is an important limitation to the possible development of the area.
The realization of that direct connection between the road sector will be by Agustín Fuentes Avenue.
Thus, the Ministry authorized the construction of this connection and assist in the development of road improvement activities in the municipality.
For its part, the City shall contribute to obtaining the land needed for the execution of the works, as well as financing and contracting.
