The amateur theater group "Tejuba" of Cotillas Towers is currently engaged in trials of the new work that will add to your repertoire.
This is the piece "an inspector calls" by JB Priestley, a work written in 1946 in which the author denounced the painful values ​​on which was based the system of the time.
"The amazing thing is that it is also valid today and makes us think about what we are building," says the director of the theater group Torrena Joaquin Cantero, who notes that assembly will premiere June 22 at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Torreño municipality.
The play takes place in 1912, presents the Birling an aristocratic family celebrating the engagement of their daughter, a party that is interrupted by an inspector investigating the suicide of a young woman.
"The 'Tejuba' has a history of over 40 years standing and consists of more than 40 people ranging in age from one year to the seventies" said the Councillor for Culture Torrena, Isabel Franco.
