Cotillas Towers held on the evening of Saturday June 29 the traditional ceremony of "homage to huertano", a quote framed in the proposed program for the month of June by the local Department of Culture.
With the assistance, among other local authorities, the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and Councillor for Culture and Celebration, Isabel Franco, first performed at the "Monument to Huertano" an emotional wreath.
During this event, which had the cooperation of the "Association Literary Towers" and the club "The Corner", the dance group entertained the afternoon, local poet Salvador Sandoval starred reading a text in which extolled the Torreño huertano virtues.
Later, in the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" the municipality's entourage continued this popular tribute to the origins huertanos Torreño municipality, for which readings were made several poetical pieces by members of "The Literary Association Torres ".
