The amateur theater group "Tejuba" Las Torres de Cotillas, led by Joaquin Cantero, premiered on Sunday night June 30th his new stage show, the play "An Inspector Calls", the English dramatist JB Priestley.
After several months of intense rehearsals, the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" Torreño municipality became too small for the first public performance of the actors torreños of this play written in 1946 and in which the author denounced the painful values ​​on who settled the system of the time.
"The amazing thing is that it is also valid today and makes us think about what we are building," says the director of the theater group Torrena Joaquin Cantero, who explains that the entry was set to the audience in food donations non-perishable, which reached hundreds of kilos, which will go to Caritas.
Starring Antonio Gracia, Rafa Canovas, Soledad López, Carmen Sandoval, José Joaquín Licerán, Lara and Antonio Lorena Almagro, the play takes place in 1912 and presents the Birling an aristocratic family celebrating the engagement of their daughter, a party that is interrupted by an inspector investigating the suicide of a young woman.
