The municipality has Cotillas Towers a few days ago with two new containers for domestic oil tank used for recycling, a service offered in the town Domestic Oil Association of the Region of Murcia (AERTAMUR) thanks to an agreement established in 2012 with the local council.
The new places where you can deposit this waste for collection are in the vicinity of "Sports Center Towers" in the Catholic Kings Avenue, and Paseo Doctor Fernandez Jara.
"These containers have new design and functionality, and are in addition to the nine already in place," explains Councillor for the Environment, Inmaculada Fernandez, who confirmed that it "marks the percentage of deposits laid down in the agreement and may provide a better service to the citizens of the municipality. "
"These new containers, which have shaped bottle, are much more visible thereby improving awareness for the citizen as well as being more secure from theft and vandalism," says the president of AERTAMUR, Leonor Garcia.

"The domestic oil residue is currently one of the main causes of pollution of urban wastewater as discharged into the drain makes water purification is tremendously expensive," says Fernandez.
