The Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region of Murcia continues with the physical evidence of their oppositions to firefighter, which are being made in the Municipal Sports Cotillas Towers and the "Sports Center Towers".
In these specific physical tests, which began on Tuesday November 5 and will last until next week, aspiring firefighters are facing the following challenges sports: smooth rope climb by five meters in length, on a space race 100 and 2,000 meter sprint, pursuit of "bench press" with a weight of 45 kilograms, vertical jump, swim test 50 meter free diving from a distance of 25 meters and push-ups exercise on horizontal bar.
This selective process, which occurred about 500 applicants came from all parts of Spain, will cover 23 vacant firefighter-driver in the 14 parks that are in the region of Murcia.
These parks cover emergencies that occur in all municipalities except Murcia and Cartagena, is complemented by other tests such as psychometric tests, tests of knowledge and professional qualifications and training courses.
