The Department of Education Cotillas Towers and Literary Association "Las Torres" held on Thursday November 21 (20:30 pm) at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" local traditional new edition of "Tribute to the Master" .

This event, which will be attended, among other authorities, the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and Councillor for Education, Pedro Cabrera, will feature the collaboration of two local cultural entities: first, the theater group amateur "Tejuba" whose smallest members read poems of Garcia Lorca, Carmen Conde and others, and Rondalla Choir and Day Centre for the Elderly of the municipality, which will offer a sampling of the best of his repertoire.

In addition, members of the Literary Association "Las Torres" recite his own poems in homage to the master.

"This annual event in honor serves to pay tribute to the teachers who have retired during the past year," said Cabrera, who notes that this year's honorees are Consuelo Prieto Gil (CEIP "The Park"), Maria Teresa Fernandez Riano and Vicente Martinez Tudela (CEIP "Master Joaquin Cantero"), M ª Carmen Penadés Ullate (CEIP "Valentine Buendía"), Carmen Arnaldos Cascales, Juan Antonio Guerra Gonzalez and Josefina Carrillo Ortuño (IES "Salvador Sandoval"), and Juan Manuel Margalef Sánchez ( FP Center "Nuestra Señora de la Salceda").
