Local Police Cotillas Towers and Civil Guard, who share the premises of the Local Security Center Township, are collaborating on a series of joint checks.
"Since last week both security forces are working together on the implementation of various controls in the town, such as drugs or alcohol at the wheel," says Torreño of Public Safety, Peter J.
Noguera, who states that this collaboration also extends to the local inspection and is performed along every day of the week.
"From now on, taking advantage of the proximity of the Civil Guard after his transfer to our Local Security Center, this joint work is to be performed in a continuous and regular basis," he adds Torreño mayor.
Young
In addition, last week agents Torrena local police surprised a group of young children performing in the square painted the new local council.
Having informed the boys, aged between 11 and 14 years-of the corresponding fine for this action, they offered to clean them as compensation for infringement.
"The day after these events had disappeared painted those," said Noguera, who sees "very positive that young people themselves become aware of the impact of their actions and compensate its work the damage done to society."
