The Ministry of Agriculture and Water of Murcia recently awarded the construction of the new wastewater collection Cotillas Towers, which will run from the rail of the Palms to San Juan Road.
The work, awarded 303,000 euros, will be made by the company "Dragados" which provided the public the most economically advantageous tender competition.
The works, which are funded by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union, came to hiring a base budget of 627,000 euros.
The collector gave service so far is outdated and has problems in the evacuation of wastewater caused by the urban growth of the town.
"Township Cotillas Towers has had a very big development in recent years, growing in both size and in population. Therefore it is necessary to expand some of its basic infrastructure such as these collectors, to give the adequate service to our neighbors deserve, "said Mayor Torreño Domingo Coronado, who notes that the estimated duration of the work will be 8 months.
