It has already begun in Las Torres de Cotillas an employment workshop and training on "Cleaning surfaces and furnishings in buildings and premises", held at the Centre for Local Development Torrena hamlet of La Media League.
This initiative, managed by the local Department of Employment, allow paid training-both theoretical and practical, of 15 local unemployed people over 25 and has a grant of 164,000 euros from the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Region of Murcia.
This workshop will receive on Friday 14 February (10 hours) the visit of Director General of SEF own, Ginés Martínez and Torrena Councillor for Employment, Isabel Franco, entails the procurement by the Torreño a trainer and an administrative assistant, in addition to the 15 students who will develop the program.
"We present this project along with 19 other municipalities in the region have been chosen and finally only six," says Franco, who notes that "with workshops like this offer employment opportunities to the unemployed in our town and this is a mixed mode alternative with a double benefit: the professional training of the unemployed person and pay one hundred percent of the minimum wage as part of the project. "
"This workshop will provide approved participants of the certificate of professional training in the area," adds Torrena mayor.
Nearly 260,000 euros in grants
Between October 2013 and December last the Autonomous Community has awarded grants Torreño employment totaling 258,682 euros.
And besides this mixed finance employment and training workshop has also funded more than 49,000 euros a free training course on "administrative activities in the relationship with the customer" and the hiring of over 45,000 euros, technical and administrative staff on Women's Business Incubator of the town.
In short, a financial support of the regional government will result in the creation of more than twenty jobs in the locality.
